About Dr Magee
Dr Rebecca Magee
Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon
Sunshine Coast Vascular is a comprehensive vascular and endovascular surgery practice located on the Sunshine Coast. The practice offers management for the full spectrum of vascular conditions, from in-room varicose vein treatment to complex arterial reconstructions. The philosophy of the practice is to provide a comfortable environment where patients can discuss their concerns, provide access to the latest vascular treatment options, and to educate patients on their condition and treatment options to empower them to make informed choices regarding their care.
Sunshine Coast Vascular’s founder, Dr Rebecca Magee, was raised on the Sunshine Coast. After years experiencing her training with national and international leaders in vascular surgery, she returned home to the Sunshine Coast and established a public vascular surgery unit after more than 10 years without a local service. Dr Magee specialises in the minimally invasive “endovascular” treatment of vascular conditions, and has special interests in varicose veins, peripheral vascular disease (blocked arteries), aneurysms, and diabetic foot ulcers. Dr Magee’s return to the Sunshine Coast has made more advanced vascular treatments available locally, avoiding the need to travel to Brisbane.
